As we’ve worked out in the past 24 hours, the quote below is what sums up our problem with iPad. For me iPad would be a home-time luxury. For my mother, it would be everything about computing finally making sense.

Me: The most attractive guy ever came to my front door this afternoon, asking about his missing orange cat called Boston. It was incredibly cute.
Laura: Did you say 'Sure, it's in my bedroom' ?
Me: In hindsight that would have been a vastly superior plan, rather than being as helpful as I could while giggling like a schoolgirl.

The first track of the album is the most amazing mix of the Arcade Fire and ‘Lifted’ era Bright Eyes I could ever conceptualise. Not even a poorly mixed mashup could top it.
